Use all 5 dress ups and all 6 sentence openers in each paragraph (make sure they are underlined/marked). Turn in outline with report.

Vocabulary sheet pg 11 Keep reviewing for quiz. Take the Quia quiz for 1st Quarter Vocab if you haven't done that yet.
Fix It Week 12
Using the notes you took from the lecture on "Master Schedules", write a paragraph using the 5 dress-ups and 6 sentence openers.
There will be a test over all dress-ups and sentence openers on December 1.

Reminder: Start reading your second book; book report due January 12.

Take the opportunity to catch up on missing assignments over break.

Vocabulary pg 6. Make a list of 5-10 words that use each of the roots. Example: gen - generation, geneology etc.
Fixt-It week 6.
Grammar Worksheet handed out in class - Comma Exercise 1. (You can use the link to Grammar Bytes to get on-line help.
Rewrite Cock and Eagle story using all dress-ups in each paragraph (use checklist) and add title. Email rough draft by Friday.

I am still missing book selections for the 1st half of semester. Please report your book selection title to me this week if you have not done so!

Rewrite Miller and his son. Use all dress-ups in every paragraph and underline. This means you will have 15 dress ups. Your story should have 3 paragraphs. Follow the Story Sequence Chart. Points will be given for following directions, name on paper, double space, 15 dress-ups, dress-ups underlined and 3 paragraphs.

Each Day: Write a section from Fix-It page 2 onto notebook paper with corrections. Watch for spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization.
Complete Vocab pg 2. Review daily (Quiz will cover week 1-2)
Complete all previous assignments to be turned in. Remember that you will need *Final Draft (double spaced, who/which clause underlined, name) Key Word Outline (KWO) and checklist.
